Lavazza’s story began in a small roaster in Turin in 1895 when Luigi Lavazza decided to follow his passion for coffee and extreme curiosity in experimenting with new flavours.
This is when the sensorial journey started across different continents, from Africa to South America and Asia. Exploring those countries, Lavazza was especially impressed by two particular origins which have a distinctive sweet aroma and a deliciously crisp taste: Santa Marta from Colombia and Kilimanjaro from Tanzania.
